About the Journal

The Journal of Academic Tourism and Hospitality (JATH) is a International Journal with ISSN Print: 0000 and ISSN Electronic: 3110-4673, publishing scientific research in the field of tourism. The journal covers topics such as tourism management. JATH is published by the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Garut, and has been issued electronically twice a year since 2025. 

JATH is dedicated to exploring and disseminating scientific knowledge related to the tourism, hospitality, and travel industries. The journal serves as a platform for developing and communicating research, studies, analyses, and scientific ideas, with a focus on innovative approaches in these fields. It operates under the Faculty of Tourism, Universitas Garut, and is supported by a team of experts from the Institute for Research and Community Service.

JATH is published twice a year, addressing key issues in the tourism and hospitality sectors. The journal aims to present conceptual frameworks, new ideas, and research findings that contribute to the advancement of tourism, hospitality, and travel sciences. It encourages interdisciplinary contributions and relevant research approaches, covering topics such as individual and community behavior in travel and recreation choices, industry trends, and management innovations.
